Your invitation to go first
this past weekend I was in Scottsdale, AZ, attending the Powerhouse Women event, and in the wake of that event, I'm somehow both ready to take on the world and completely drained (thus, the writing in bed part).
At the event, 600 women from around the world came together for connection, inspiration, and growth. In addition to my Powerhouse Women coaching programs and masterminds I've participated in, I've attended this event for the past three years. I always walk away inspired by the women on stage as much as the women that I meet, all of whom remind me of what is possible.
The power of sharing our stories
This week, I’m attending a Women’s Salon Dinner event where the goal is to have meaningful conversations.
There is no agenda other than connection.
How to break free from the Loneliness Loop
The truth is, we can feel lonely even when standing in a crowded room full of familiar, friendly faces.
What I’ve learned is that sometimes loneliness is not about our proximity to people. It’s about feeling alone in our feelings. When we feel like we’re alone, we’re less inclined to tell anyone how we’re feeling, which makes us feel even more alone in our feelings—trapping us in an endless cycle of loneliness.
I call this the Loneliness Loop.
How to use your social media for good
Can you use your social media for good? Instead of giving up and deleting your apps altogether, here are some ways I've found to make it a healthier, more positive space.
Finding community (…and launching a new one!!)
If finding community feels hard lately, you are not alone.
This is something I’ve been thinking about a lot recently. We live in a world where community can feel like something we know exists but is unreachable to us. And if you’ve felt that, I want you to know—it’s not just you.
